  1. Is there a cost to OACES programs? Yes and no. The HSE program is FREE. The CTE training program has a fee. Financial aid is available.
  2. How does someone get financial aid? Help your customer enroll in OACES – intake –  and OACES staff will assist them during their intake session
  3. Does someone have to enroll in HSE if they are enrolled in CTE programs? HSE is embedded in the CTE training program.

  5. Where did this Digital Literacy/OACES partnership come from? Literacy Rochester has had a successful 5-year relationship with OACES. It has funded Digital Literacy’s work at Lincoln and Sully branch libraries. Recently, our relationship was renewed and significantly expanded for another 5-year period. Look to future e-newsletters for more details.
  6. Can anyone use OACES programs and services? OACES is open to any Monroe County resident 21 years and older.
